What is it like to travel East Asia (Japan and China, in particular) as a woman of color? In November 2017, I joined forces with three friends to create and present this brief talk on the topic at the inaugural session of TEDxMacalester College.


What does it feel like to be a representative of the student body through student government? I spoke with President Brian Rosenberg of Macalester College.

In October 2018, I was invited to present my paper about the speech of mixed race Japanese people at the annual  Asian Junior Linguistics Conference  held at Hong Kong University. I was honored to be one of two scholarship recipients for the same.
